It was the first book to model interconnected systems, clearly revealing the growth trends in population, industrialization, resource use, and pollution remain unchanged the carrying capacity will exceed sometime in the next 100 years. Although the contents have informed humans of the possible consequences, we are still heading toward the predicted outcome.
